Yes. A non-invasive prenatal paternity test (NIPP, also called NIPPT) assesses biological paternity before birth using fetal-derived cell-free DNA circulating in the pregnant mother's blood. The laboratory compares relevant genetic information with DNA from the alleged father.
Unlike procedures that collect an amniotic-fluid or chorionic-villus sample, this testing method obtains the fetal-derived DNA information from maternal blood. The mother's blood draw must still be performed by a qualified professional.

Suspire facilitates testing through DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC), USA. DDC analyses fetal-derived genetic information from the maternal blood and compares it with the alleged father's DNA. The report provides the laboratory's case-specific paternity conclusion and statistical findings.
When paternity is supported, DDC describes its NIPP testing as providing a probability of paternity greater than 99.9%. The actual issued report governs the interpretation of an individual case.
