Our Paternity Test definitively confirms biological relationships between alleged fathers and children of any age, using simple cheek swab samples.
The test delivers over 99.999% accuracy in determining probability of paternity. Each test is automatically repeated to ensure consistent, reliable results. A detailed genetic report accompanies the conclusive test results, either confirming paternity with over 99.999% probability or excluding paternity with 100% certainty.
Legal vs Personal Paternity DNA Test – Important Difference
This test is designed for personal information only.
DNA collection is performed by the customer at home using a cheek-swab kit
The DNA kit is delivered and returned via courier
No identity verification is conducted
No chain of custody (COC) is established
Results are not court-admissible
Personal paternity DNA test reports are intended only for private knowledge and peace of mind and cannot be used for judicial, immigration, or official purposes.
This option is suitable for customers in UAE and other GCC countries, as the process is entirely home-based and courier-supported.
Legal paternity DNA testing requires a strict Chain of Custody (COC) process and is usually requested by:
Courts or legal authorities
Immigration departments
Passport or visa authorities
Government institutions
Key requirements for legal paternity DNA testing:
Sample collection must be performed in person by authorized DNA collectors
Mandatory verification of government-issued photo identification
Consent forms must be signed by all tested individuals
If a minor is involved, legal guardian consent is required
Full chain of custody documentation is maintained from collection to reporting
Due to these requirements, mostly legal paternity DNA testing can only be performed when the tested individuals are physically present in the UAE. Kindly Contact us to check if scope can be extended to your country of residence.
Technical Info
Our laboratory uses a precise process to compare the DNA of alleged fathers and children. First, DNA is extracted from the cell samples and specific regions are amplified through polymerase chain reaction (PCR), creating millions of copies for analysis.
These targeted regions contain genetic markers called short tandem repeats (STRs). A child inherits one copy of each STR from their biological mother and one from their biological father. Therefore, a child shares approximately 50% of their STRs with each parent.
By analyzing up to 27 of these STR markers between the alleged father and child, we can definitively determine if they share a biological parent-child relationship with over 99.999% accuracy. The more STR markers that match between them, the higher the probability that they are biologically related.
At Suspire, we provide a clear report that answers one core question: is the tested man the biological father of the child or not?
If he IS the biological father (Inclusion): the report typically shows a very high Probability of Paternity (commonly 99%+) along with supporting statistics like CPI (Combined Paternity Index).
If he is NOT the biological father (Exclusion): the probability is shown as 0%, meaning the tested man is excluded as the biological father.
Our DNA Paternity Test is highly accurate—up to 99.9%—because the analysis is performed by our partner laboratory DDC (USA), and we focus on reliable DNA marker testing with strict lab standards.
Accuracy also depends on proper sample collection and ensuring the correct people’s samples are submitted in the kit.
Once the lab receives your samples in USA, we typically deliver results in 2–3 working days to your email/WhatsApp (confidentially).
Please note: courier delivery/pickup time is separate from the lab processing timeline.
If the alleged father is not available, we recommend you contact Suspire—we’ll guide you on the best alternative based on your situation.
Depending on what’s possible, alternatives may include indirect relationship testing using close relatives (for example):
Grandparent DNA Test (using the alleged father’s parents))
Avuncular Test (uncle/aunt) (using the alleged father’s full sibling)
Y-STR testing (male line) for certain father-son lineage situations
In some cases (for personal knowledge situations), we may also discuss other options—so it’s best to speak with our team and we’ll advise what’s suitable and what’s not.
No problem — at Suspire, we can still complete the test smoothly.
We can ship kits to different addresses. If the tested individuals are in different cities (or even different countries), we can send the collection kits separately to each location. (An additional shipping charge may apply for multiple addresses.)
Each person collects their own cheek-swab sample at home, seals it as instructed, and we guide you on the next step.
We help coordinate return/pickup of the samples so both samples reach the lab securely — we deliver and pick up “wherever you are” across our service regions.
Tip: The lab processing timeline effectively starts once all required participants’ samples are received, so sending both samples back promptly helps avoid delays.
We recommend sending your samples as soon as possible after collection, so the lab receives them quickly and your turnaround time isn’t delayed.
If you’ve already collected the cheek swabs: keep them dry, sealed, and in the kit packaging until pickup/shipping. (The standard paternity kit is designed for collecting samples using swabs and sending them back for testing.)
Private Knowledge (Peace of Mind) Test
Meant for personal clarity.
Samples are usually self-collected at home.
By default, online-ordered DNA tests are treated as personal knowledge and not for judicial submission.
Legal (Chain of Custody) Test
Needed when results must be court/embassy/immigration admissible.
Requires a documented Chain of Custody trail that tracks samples from collection to reporting to prove identity and integrity.
Sample collection is done by a Suspire’s DNA Collectors with ID verification under strict protocols, and consent verifications.
In most cases, no—a conclusive paternity test can be done with the child + alleged father.
That said, in some complex scenarios, adding the mother can help strengthen clarity—our team can advise if it’s beneficial in your case.
For standard (post-birth) paternity testing, buccal (cheek) swabs are the standard and preferred method—they are non-invasive and provide reliable DNA for analysis.
Blood is not “better” for routine paternity kits—it’s simply a different sample type and is more invasive. Blood collection is more commonly relevant in prenatal paternity testing, where a blood sample from the mother is required (for non-invasive prenatal testing) along with a cheek swab from the alleged father.
For a personal (private knowledge) test: yes, it’s designed to be simple—use the sterile cheek swabs as instructed and send them back.
For a legal (Chain of Custody) test: professional collection is required—our trained collectors verify ID and collect the swab under strict Chain of Custody protocols.
No—a Chain of Custody report must start with verified identity + documented handling from the moment of collection.
Also, Suspire’s terms state that by default, online-ordered tests are for personal knowledge only and cannot be submitted for judicial purposes.
If you think you might need the report for court/embassy later, we strongly recommend choosing Chain of Custody from the beginning so everything is done correctly.
